Video production

Providing information in the form of an well made video can be a great way to engage a visitor. Our team includes audio and video production crew with a wealth of experience in meeting the needs of cultural heritage institutions. We can create documentary-style footage, explaining the history of a location or part of a special collection. This might consist of an on-screen presenter who guides the attention of an audience.

Our experience gained in TV and movie production mean we are also able to add to this visualisations and virtual environments. Want to see Boudicca storm Camulodunum? or everyday life in a Bronze age round house? The tools and techniques we use mean not only are such visualisations possible, they're now also affordable.
Green screen setup
In terms of delivery, many institutions chose to re-use video in order to make budgets go further. Our location-aware portable video guides are a great way to bring the past to life, but why stop there? Some visitors may prefer to download and keep video on their smart phones. And as we shoot everything in HD, why not have the same video available on fixed-point, touch-screen information points? We can even produce 3D video for that truly immersive experience.
